TREASURER'S REPORT 2010
Financially 2010 can best be described as a quiet year. Demands for repairs were modest and as a result a surplus of £4137 was made. May I draw attention to the Gift Aid Scheme (details from M/s Pat Squire) which allows the Church to recover tax on contributions? A full 1/8th of all the Church income came from his source and my thanks to all of you who have signed. If you have not already signed up please do so, it’s a painless way of increasing the value of your contribution.

FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS
During 2010 several members increased their weekly offering or Standing Order to our church, resulting in an overall increase of nearly £5000.
The revenue from Gift Aid continues to be a vital source of income, and we are currently awaiting receipt of over £5000 as reclaimed tax on contributions to the church, and mission work, during 2010. As always, we are most grateful to those who "gift-aid" their contributions, and would urge all tax-payers to complete a simple Gift Aid declaration form to enable us to make maximum use of this scheme. A word of caution to those whose contributions are currently gift-aided, however. If your circumstances change, and you no longer pay sufficient tax, please could you notify me, as, sadly, 1 would no longer be able to claim on your contributions.
