OUR TWIN CHURCH
St. Thomas Presbyterian Church, Hope & Queen Streets, Cummingsburg, "Tiger Bay", Georgetown, Guyana, South America, consecrated January 1, 1872.

Our twin church in Guyana will be celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2011 having been built in 1871.
 Judging by the attendance they had at the 135th anniversary celebrations they are expecting a large turn out. They have already started preparing the church - small repairs - some repainting and the pews will be refurbished. The celebrations start with a joint service on the 9th of January, there will also be a symposium and exhibition, a church and friends in concert and a community service.
